William Scull vs Vladimir Shishkin will be available on DAZN this weekend.
DAZN has announced that they have acquired the broadcast rights to Saturday’s vacant IBF super middleweight title fight between William Scull and Vladimir Shishkin.
The streamer will have the fight available to subscribers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Latin America. The four-fight show will air live from Berlin starting at 3 pm ET tomorrow. Bad Left Hook will be here with live updates.
Scull (22-0, 9 KO) is a 32-year-old Cuban based in Germany, who has been mandatory challenger for the belt, which Canelo Alvarez vacated to instead fight Edgar Berlanga in September, as Scull, being fair here, has absolutely no name value in the United States, and his record is even emptier than Berlanga’s, however much you might want to criticize the Berlanga choice.
Shishkin (16-0, 10 KO) is a 33-year-old Russian based in the United States, who has been seen on some ShoBox cards and the like in the States. Shishkin hasn’t exactly faced the cream of the crop at 168 lbs, but does have more of any note on his record than Scull.
Basically, it’s a fight for everyone to find out how good William Scull really might be, because he’s unbeaten but unproven thus far.
