Davis, who spent most of the fight moving forward and using feints to maneuver Martin into the ropes, let his power punches go in the seventh round, landing 19 to Martin’s 10. Smelling blood, Davis went for the kill in the next round, forcing Martin into the ropes, landing an uppercut that stunned Martin, and finishing Martin off with a thunderous left hand.
