Frazer Clarke has confirmed that an agreement has been reached for a rematch with the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley.

The 33 year old challenged Wardley, 29, in March, when the undefeated pair produced a fine fight for both titles. The bout was scored a draw and and a rematch has been in demand ever since.

The British Boxing Board of Control recently revealed that an agreement had been reached for them to fight again, and Clarke has become the first of the two fighters to speak and said that the full details will soon be known.

“It’s agreed and it’s on,” he told Sky Sports News. “I’m always getting asked on the street, ‘When is the rematch happening?’

“I can’t give that information yet but we are back on and you’ll get the news very soon.”

Although Clarke could not confirm a date or location for the highly anticipated rematch, it has been suggested that their fight will feature on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev-Dmitry Bivol on October 12 in Saudi Arabia.
