Diego Pacheco and Maciej Sulecki made weight for their 12-round super middleweight fight on Friday ahead of Saturday’s Matchroom Boxing event at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA.
Los Angeles Pacheco (21-0, 17 KOs) weighed in at 168, while Sulecki of Poland tilted the scale at 167.4 pounds. Rated No.1 by the WBO and No.4 by IBF, Pacheco will be defending his WBO International super-middleweight and WBC USA titles in his second fight of the year following a 10-round unanimous decision win over Shawn McCalman last April.
Mexico’s junior lightweight Eduardo Nunez (26-1, 26 KOs) took to the scales at 133 pounds. His Colombian opponent, Miguel Marriaga hit 131 pounds at the weigh-in ahead of their 10-round contest.
In other contests, Arturo Cardenas of Mexico (5-1, 5 KOs) weighed in at 121.2 pounds, while his compatriot Jesus Arechiga (21-1, 15 KOs) came in at the 122 pounds limit for their WBC Continental Americas junior featherweight title.
