Castro, 27, enters on a four-fight win streak. Weighing in at 153lbs, the 13-1 (8 KOs) junior middleweight looks to continue his push toward contender status. His opponent, Denzel Whitley, matched him at 153lbs. Whitley, 14-0 (8 KOs), has stopped two of his last three opponents, with one victory coming by split decision.
In the co-feature, heavyweight Kevin Nagle, 41, weighed in at 266lbs. The undefeated fighter at 9-0 (7 KOs) will face 30-year-old Jake Paradise, who tipped the scales at 248lbs. Paradise, 8-3 (8 KOs), aims to use his home advantage in Worcester.
