Hearn points out that if Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) is victorious against unified three-belt heavyweight champion Usyk in their rematch at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, it makes the Joshua fight bigger. “I think Fury vs AJ is the fight regardless, in all honesty. People keep telling me, ‘Ah, AJ’s not rematching Dubois now’ — not true. AJ’s not rematching Dubois on Feb. 22; he still wants to fight him, and AJ will return in May or June, and that might be against Daniel Dubois, still the biggest fight out there for Dubois. But we also understand that the Fury fight is a monster and will always be a monster,” said Hearn to iFL TV. “Win or lose for Fury [Usyk on December 21st], I think those two should fight twice next year.
