Oh, poor David Benavidez! The undefeated champion has been chasing Canelo Alvarez like a lovesick puppy, only to be swatted away time and time again. It seems Canelo’s too busy “fighting the easiest guys he could possibly fight” to bother with a real challenge. How considerate of him to spare Benavidez the embarrassment!

But fear not, folks! Our hero Benavidez has found a new purpose in life: becoming the undisputed 175-pound king. There could only be one king.” Well, isn’t that a novel concept?

Now, Benavidez is setting his sights on David Morrell, confidently stating, “I gotta get past David Morrell, which I know I’m going to do that.” Such modesty! But don’t worry, he’s not stopping there. He’s “going after all four belts.” Because if Canelo won’t notice him, maybe a shiny collection of belts will do the trick.
