WBO super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete faces Oscar Valdez in a rematch tonight on ESPN and ESPN+ in the main event, and in the co-feature, WBO 126-lb champ Rafael Espinoza defends against former belt-holder Robeisy Ramirez in a return match. Tonight’s event will occur at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Tonight’s event begins at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Given the back-and-forth drama from their first fight on December 9th, 2023, fans are very interested in the rematch between two-time Cuban Olympic gold medalist Robeisy (14-2, 9 KOs) and the Mexican fighter Espinoza (25-0, 21 KOs).

Some believe this should be the main event tonight, not the Navarrete vs. Valdez contest, as their previous match last year on August 12th was as one-sided as a fight could get without being stopped.

Live results and updates will be given below.

Main Card on ESPN and ESPN+

– Emanuel Navarrete vs. Oscar Valdez
– Rafael Espinoza vs. Robeisy Ramirez

Navarrete beat Valdez by a 12-round unanimous decision with scores of 119-109. 118-110 and 116-112. The former two-division world champion Valdez never stopped trying, but he didn’t possess the reach, output, or power to contend with Navarrete. That’s probably not going to change tonight.

Since their fight, Navarrete has turned in back-to-back abysmal performances against Denys Berinchyk and Robson Conceicao. He lost to Berinchyk by a 12-round split decision on May 18th and fought to a 12-round draw against Conceicao on November 16th last year. Fans believe Navarrete deserved a defeat against Conceicao as well, but was saved by the judges due to his popularity.
