Former IBF and WBA champion Daniel Roman has announced plans to continue his career.
Roman last boxed in June 2022 when he challenged Stephen Fulton for his WBC and WBO belts in Minneapolis.
The 34-year-old “Baby Faced Assassin” made his debut in 2010 and racked up 29 wins against four losses, with 10 victories coming inside the distance. He claimed titles with the IBF and WBA along the way.
The former junior featherweight champion from Los Angeles has boxed in Japan, lost a split decision to Murodjon Akhmadaliev in 2020, and won his next two before bowing out after defeat to Philadelphian Fulton.
“I am officially announcing my return to the sport of boxing as a free agent,” he wrote on X.
