DAZN will host a double-header on February 15 after Golden Boy Promotions made it official that Regis Prograis and Oscar Duarte will meet at the Honda Center in Anaheim. On the same night, in Manchester, Jack Catterall and Arnold Barboza meet in Manchester, England.

Prograis is 29-3 (24 KOs) and coming off consecutive losses to Devin Haney and Catterall, both on the road in San Francisco and Manchester respectively, while Duarte, trained by Robert Garcia, is 28-2-1 (22 KOs).
The 28-year-old Mexican has won his last two, since a 2023 stoppage loss to Ryan Garcia. He returned with wins over Jojo Diaz and Botirzhon Akhmedov.

The 35-year-old Prograis, from New Orleans, managed by Brian Peters, will be boxing under the Golden Boy umbrella having previously been signed to Matchroom. The fight is set for 12 rounds at 140lbs.

“I feel very happy and motivated with this great opportunity to face a former two-time world champion boxer,” said Duarte. “Facing Regis Prograis means a lot to me because he is an established, high-level fighter, and if I can win this fight, it would represent a very important step in my career. I know the fight will not be easy. Prograis is a complicated fighter; he hits hard, has not been knocked out, and also wants to return to victory after his last two defeats. I will have to put up a great fight and be very intelligent to defeat him.”

Prograis said: “First off, I’m just excited to be back in the ring so soon doing what I love. I understand that inactivity is the death of a fighter. At this point in my career, I want and need to be more active. I think this fight has fireworks written all over it. My opponent is a strong, tough and hungry fighter, and it should be a great night in California. I’m excited for this fight and looking forward to next month.”

In Manchester, Catterall and Barboza meet in the main event at the Co-op Live Arena for the WBO’s interim title at junior welterweight and while it had already been announced that the grudge match between Reece Bellotti and Michael Gomez Jnr at junior lightweight – for the British and Commonwealth titles – and that Pat McCormack and Robbie Davies would fight at welterweight, an interesting match has been made between veterans Zelfa Barrett and Jazza Dickens.

Barrett, a 31-year-old from Manchester, is 31-2 (17 KOs) and scored an outstanding win last April, stopping Jordan Gill with bodyshots. Liverpool southpaw Dickens boxed twice in 2024, scoring a stoppage win over journeyman Jayro Fernando Duran in Liverpool in six and defeating Eduardo Mancito after seven in Dubai.

The Manchester bill also includes prospect William Crolla and debutant Conner Tudsbury.
