Kristian Prenga made it 17 knockouts in 17 victories.

The 33-year-old Albanian heavyweight made quick work of Juan Torres, stopping the southpaw heavyweight in two rounds on Saturday, January 18 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prenga, 17-1 (17 KOs), dropped Torres, 11-8-1 (4 KOs), three times in the first round before finishing him off with two more in the second before the fight was stopped at the 1:16 mark.

The win was the 13th straight for Prenga, who now makes his home in Edgewater, New Jersey.

Torres, 38, of Cypress, Texas, has now lost three straight, all by knockout.

Prenga, who is trained by Muhammad Abdul Salaam in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, had a late start to boxing, beginning as a kickboxer at age 20 before turning professional in 2016. He has been based in America for the past couple years, and has become one of the biggest undercard ticket sellers in the New Jersey area.

In other action, the Patricio siblings, Shera Mae, 4-0 (2 KOs), and Lyndon Jnr (3-0, 2 KOs), remained undefeated with victories in their four-round bouts. Shera Mae, 22, shut out Josefina Vega, 9-11 (4 KOs), of Quito, Ecuador by scores of 40-35 across the board while Lyndon Jnr, 20, stopped Marcus Decamp, 0-3, of Battle Creek, Michigan in three rounds.

Shera Mae, who came one win shy of making the U.S. Olympic team last year, pushed the action from bell to bell, scoring the fight’s only knockdown in round three. The 11-time national amateur champion had a determined foe in the other corner but managed to wear her down with constant pressure.

Lyndon Jnr, who is now based in Las Vegas, used his pressure to break down Decamp before a body shot forced him to succumb, ending the fight at the 2:02 mark.

Both Shera Mae and Lyndon Jnr are from Waianae, Hawaii but have ties to the Philadelphia area through their manager Bob Kane, who owns Kaoz Boxing in town.

LeAnna Cruz, 10-0 (1 KO), scored the first stoppage victory of her career, pummeling Amy Naert along the ropes with a mix of head and body punches to force the referee’s intervention at the 27-second mark of round two. Cruz, 27, of Allentown, Pennsylvania turned pro in 2021 without any amateur experience.

Naert, 11-5 (3 KOs), of West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, loses for the first time inside the distance.

The show was promoted by Kali Reis.
