Chordale Booker will reportedly welcome Sebastian Fundora back to the ring this coming March in Las Vegas

Mike Coppinger reports that unified WBO/WBC super welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora, freshly freed from his fruitless quest to face Errol Spence Jr, will instead meet Chordale Booker in his return to action.

Per Jake Donovan, the bout will headline a March 22nd PBC on Prime show in Las Vegas that also features Elijah Garcia vs Terrell Gausha.

Booker (23-1, 11 KO) infamously suffered a one-round knockout loss to “Ammo” Williams in his biggest fight to date. He’s won six straight in the three years since, though the biggest name among them was arguably former Erislandy Lara victim Greg Vendetti last February and Booker missed weight in the process.

Still, he’s ranked by the WBO and the WBC should shove him into their rankings shortly before/after PBC announces the fight, so Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KO) will get to shake off the rust and bank an official title defense in the process. Hopefully Charles Conwell is still in the running for later this year.
