PATERSON, N.J. — Damian Knyba gave a brief glimpse into his training and preparations on Thursday, two days ahead of his showdown with fellow Polish heavyweight Andrzej Wawrzyk.
Knyba (14-0, 8 KOs), who will headline Saturday’s card at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., did a light demonstration at True Warriors Boxing Club in Paterson, shadowboxing and working the pads with head trainer Shaun George. The 29-year-old Knyba of Wudzyn, Poland will be facing his most experienced opponent to date in Wawrzyk (34-4, 20 KOs) of Olkusz, Poland in a ten-round fight.
