Benavidez landed more punches than Morrell in 10 of the 12 rounds; landed twice as many body punches than Morrell; and connected on 48% of his power punches. Morrell scored the fight’s lone knockdown in the closing seconds of the eleventh round, but was docked a point for hitting Benavidez after the bell.
