“Ein Sturm zieht aus” – a storm is coming – is how Agon Sports and Sturm Box Promotion is billing the event in Neu-Ulm (Germany) next Saturday (February 15). Headlining the show is former multiple world champ Felix Sturm (44-6-3) who is back again, now as a light heavyweight, and fights Benjamin Blindert (14-1-2) with the vacant WBA Gold title at stake.
Unbeaten middleweight prospect Bujan Tahiri (19-0) is off the bill due to injury, while the fight between super feathers Hamsat Shadalov (9-0) and Eduardo Bajak (5-0) has been “upgraded” from an eight-rounder to a fight for the vacant International German title.
On the undercard, talented Cuban heavyweight Carlos Castillo Rodriguez (5-0) is back in action after over a year out.
The event is streamed by DAZN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
