The Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of Fame (PABHOF) on Wednesday announced its 2025 class of inductees, the 67th group to be honored by the organization.

Headlining the class of 2025 are former world titleholders Kermit Cintron and Jason Sosa, title challengers Mike Jones, Eric Hunter and Lajuan Simon, and former national amateur champion Anthony Thompson.

Frankie Mitchell, Jimmy Clark, Young Gene Buffalo (posthumously) and Clarence “Honeychile” Johnson (posthumously) fill out the field of boxers from this year’s class.

Among the non-boxers to be honored at October’s induction ceremony – an exact date has yet to be determined – are trainers Frank Taylor, Marvin “Toochie” Gordon (posthumously), Willie O’Neill (posthumously), managers Frank Gelb and “KO” Becky O’Neill (posthumously), promoters Jules Aronson (posthumously) and Bobby Gunnis (posthumously), matchmaker Jack Puggy (posthumously), commissioner George Bochetto, referee and commissioner Rick Steigerwald, writers George Hanson, Jack Fried (posthumously) and Bob Wright (posthumously), and ring announcer Pete Byron (posthumously).

“The 2025 induction class is another stellar group that has greatly contributed to this sport we all love,” said PABHOF Chairman John DiSanto. “I look forward to honoring them and celebrating all their accomplishments in October.”

The PABHOF, the longest-running boxing hall of fame in the U.S., will have enshrined a total of 480 members (including this year’s class) since its inception in 1958.
