Go behind the scenes with Bruce Carrington as he prepares to fight Enrique Vivas this weekend.
Top Rank featherweight Bruce Carrington (14-0, 8 KOs) is set to make his return this weekend on the undercard of Mikaela Mayer’s rematch vs Sandy Ryan. As Carrington prepares to take on Enrique Vivas (23-3, 12 KOs) en route to working his way towards a future world title opportunity, you can have a look at Carrington in camp in this short video feature.
At age 27 Carrington has yet to take on a top-tier opponent but his ambitions are high and his promotional company looks to give him some exposure and a push towards the top. And working out at the Knukleheads gym, Carrington speaks a little about the opportunity at hand.
“It’s like a full circle type of moment fighting in Vegas for the second time,” Carrington says. “The first time I fought out here was my pro debut and I haven’t fought here since. And my following has gotten crazier since, my popularity has gotten crazier, so this next fight I’m really interested to see how the crowd is going to come out being that they know I’m fighting out here this time.”
