Arthur Biyarslanov and Imam Khataev will share a June 5 bill.

Arthur Biyarslanov and Imam Khataev will return in separate bouts on Saturday, June 5, on an Eye of the Tiger card in Montreal, Quebec.

Biyarslanov, 29, will defend his NABF super lightweight title in a 10-round bout, while the 30-year-old Khataev will put his NABF light heavyweight title on the line. Opponents for both have yet to be named.

Biyarslanov (18-0, 15 KO) last fought on February 6 in Montreal, stopping veteran Mohamed Mimoune in the second round. It’s basically the level at which the Russian-born southpaw, who now lives in Toronto and fought for Canada at the 2016 Olympics, has been treading water for years now, and little more should be expected in June.

You may have just seen Khataev (10-0, 9 KO) fight on March 22 in Australia, where he beat Durval Palacio via 10-round decision in an entertaining fight on the Kambosos vs Wyllie undercard. The Tokyo Olympian is going to be a reliable action fighter at the very least, and is someone worth watching fight just about anybody.

The show will be streamed live on ESPN+ for those in the United States.
