Top super welterweight Serhii Bohachuk will meet Mykal Fox in a 360 Promotions main event
360 Promotions announced today that super welterweight contender Serhii Bohachuk will headline a May 17th UFC Fight Pass show in Commerce, California opposite Mykal Fox.
Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KO) has rebuilt nicely since a potentially derailing loss to Brandon Adams in 2021, winning seven of eight while giving Vergil Ortiz Jr everything he could handle in his lone defeat. A December beating of late replacement Ishmael Davis earned him a shot at one of the two WBC titles in play, but he’ll settle for a tune-up against Fox (24-4, 5 KO), who’s spent the last few years at welterweight and whose career highlight saw him robbed against Gabriel Maestre in 2021.
Fox is plenty durable, at least, and will enjoy an eight-inch reach advantage that could give Bohachuk some trouble.
The show will also see featherweight contender Omar Trinidade (18-0-1, 13 KO) face Nicaragua’s Alexander Espinoza (23-6-3, 8 KO) and long-reigning WBO super flyweight champ Mizuki Hiruta (7-0, 2 KO) make her fourth defense against Carla Ayelen Merino (16-2, 4 KO) in the evening’s best-matched bout.
