Unbeaten middleweight Bakery Samake stopped Wade ‘The Boogeyman’ Ryan in seven rounds for the vacant WBC Silver Super Welterweight title on Saturday night at the Forum des halles, Westfield, Paris, France.
Samake (17-0, 9 KOs) stopped southpaw Ryan (22-12-1, 8 KOs) at 1:30 of the seventh round of a 12.
In the first round Ryan worked the body taking the round. In the second round, Ryan landed lead lefts to the body. Samake landed lead rights to the chin. Ryan outlanded Samake.
In the third round, Samake outworked Ryan mostly with lead rights to the chin. In the fourth round, Ryan landed overhand lefts to the body. Samake landed rights to the chin. Referee Jergen Langos warned Ryan for hitting him behind the head. In the fifth round, Samake out-landed Ryan. In the sixth round, with a minute remaining, Samake rocked Ryan with a right to the chin.
In the seventh rounds halfway point a flurry of punches from Samake dropped Ryan for an 8-count from Referee Jergen Lagos. Upon taking the count, Ryan looked to his corner, who threw in the towel, stopping the bout.
Super Middleweight Mustapha ‘Sfenjman’ Zaouche (16-0, 9 KOs) stopped Gregorio ‘El Oriental’ Marcano (14-8-1, 12 KOs) at 2:39 of the first round of an 8.
In the first round, Zauoche dropped Marcano with a right on the chin for an eight count. Seconds later, another right on the chin, and the fight stopped.
Super Featherweight Morad Maizou (2-1-1, 1 KOs) lost to southpaw Cesar ‘Zurdo’ Ignacio Paredes (18-3-1, 5 KOs) over six rounds.
The scores were 58-56, 57-57, and 60-54
The referee was Jergen Lagos.
Super Welterweight Victor Yoka (6-0, 3) stopped Ali Yammouni (14-18, 4 KOs) at 2:00 of the 3rd of a 6.
In the third round, body shots from Yoka dropped Yammouni for the count.
Super Welterweight southpaw Pavel Yasmany Echaide Planche (1-1, 1 KOs) stopped Julien Dimna (0-4) at 1:00 of the first of a 6.
In the first round, Yasmany went on the attack to the body, dropping Dimna for the count on a knee from Referee Jurgen Langos.
