WBA Continental Super Featherweight champion Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez won by technical decision over WBC Continental Americas champion Thomas Mattice at the end of the sixth round.

‘Rocky’ Hernandez (36-2, 32 KOs) defeated WBC Continental Americas champion Thomas Mattice (22-4-1, 17 KOs) by a six-round technical decision of a scheduled 12 rounds.
In the first round, Hernandez was the aggressor chasing the countering Mattice around the ring. In the second and third rounds, Hernandez landed uppercuts to Mattice’s chin, who countered with a right to the body and a left hook to the chin. In the fourth round, Mattice cut Hernandez’s right eyelid in the final minute.
The action picked up in the fifth and sixth rounds, with both having their moments. In the seventh round, Mattice was doing well, but referee Mark Calo-oy called a halt to the scorecards after two clashes of heads. It looked like a right from Mattice caused the second cut over the left eye.
The scores were 59-55, 58-55 and 58-56.
Flyweight southpaw Sergio Mendoza (24-0, 21 KOs) knocked out southpaw Angel Ramos (32-2-2, 19 KOs) at 1:00 of the third round of a scheduled ten rounds.
In the first two rounds, Mendoza used a jab and followed with lefts while Ramos worked the body with Mendoza ahead in a battle of southpaws. In the third round, a left uppercut from Mendoza on the chin and down went Ramos for the count from Referee Octavino Lopez.
WBC Youth Silver super middleweight champion Julio ‘Diamante’ Porras (12-0, 8 KOs) defeated Isaac Torres (10-1, 10 KOs) by a ten round unanimous decision, scoring a knockdown in the second.
In the second rounds final thirty seconds a Porras left hook on the chin dropped Torres for a 9-count from Referee Francisco Laveaga. In the fifth round, Porras landed overhand rights midway through the round on Torres’ chin.
In the final seconds of round nine, Porras landed a pair of rights on Torres’s chin. Porras continued chasing Torres all over the ring in the tenth and final round. The scores were 100-89, 99-90 and 99-90.
Light welterweight Leonardo Rubacalava (9-0, 3 KOs) defeated Jesus Castorena (5-2, 2 KOs) by a six-round unanimous decision.
In the first round, Rubacalava out-jabbed Castorena. In the first minute of the second round, Rubacalava landed several left hooks on the chin. Rubadalava rocked Castorena with a right on the chin in the final seconds. In the third round’s final thirty seconds, Rubadalava rocked Castorena with a left hook to the chin.
Rubadalava landed right on Castorena’s chin in the fourth round with thirty seconds to go. In the final seconds, Castorena finally finished with a flurry. In the fifth rounds final seconds Rubadalava landed a right busting up the nose of Castorena with blood flowing.
In the sixth and final round, Rubadalava won the last round for a shutout. The scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 60-54.
