Unbeaten Middleweight George Liddard of the UK defeated Africa’s Derrick Osaze over 10 rounds for the Commonwealth title on Friday night at the Indigo at The O2 Greenwich, London, UK.

In the co-main event, the unbeaten Super Welterweight Junaid ‘Star Boy’ Bostan ended in a split draw with Nigerian Bilal Fawaz, now out of the UK for the vacant British title over 10 rounds.
Liddard, 11-0 (6) defeated Derrick ‘Delroy the Punching Preacher’ Osaze, 13-3- (3) over 10 rounds for the Commonwealth title.
In the first five rounds, Liddard was in front. In the eighth round Osaze landed a pair of rights to the chin of Liddard. In the tenth and final round, Osaze had Liddard against the ropes when Liddard countered with a right on the chin at the bell.
Referee Marcus McDonnell. Scores 96-94, 96-94 and 97-93.
In the Co-main event, Super Welter Junaid ‘Star Boy’ Bostan, 10-0-1 (8), ended in a split draw with Bilal Fawaz, 9-1-1 (3) over 10 rounds, for the vacant BBBofC English Super Welter title.
In the first three rounds, Bostan fought Southpaw at times and outworked Fawaz. In the sixth rounds first minute a left hook from Bostan on the chin rocked Fawaz.
From the seventh through the ninth, Fawaz came back well as the aggressor to do enough to even the score, chasing Bostan around the ring. In the tenth, Bostan chased Fawaz, who thought he had won the fight.
The referee was Lee Every. Scores 95-95, 93-97, and 96-94.
Middleweight Jimmy Sains, 9-0 (9), knocked out Pierre Rosadini, 6-6 (3), at 2:33 of the seventh of a scheduled eight rounds.
In the fifth round, Sains dropped Rosadini for an 8-count from Referee Kieran McCann. In the seventh round, Sains again dropped Rosadini for an 8-count from Referee McCann, who waved it off in checking Rosadini.
Super Lightweight Jesse Brandon, 5-0 (1) defeated Jontas de Oliveira, 6-19 (5) over 6 rounds.
Brandon used an effective jab throughout to keep Oliveira on the defense. In the fifth round, Branon drew blood from the nose of Oliveira.
Referee Any Pu scored the fight 60-54.
Middleweight Emmanuel ‘Leli ‘ Buttigieg, 7-0 (0) defeated James ‘Toddy’ Todd, 4-4 (2) over six rounds.
In the first three rounds, both mixed it up in the middle of the round, with Buttigieg having an edge. In the fourth round, Todd had Buttigieg against the ropes for the most part. In the sixth and final round Todd’s left eye has a lot of swelling around it.
Referee Bernard Oyet scored it 58-56.
Super Feather Giorgio Visioli, 6-0 (5) stopped Francisco Javier Lucero, 16-7-4 (12) at 3:00 of the fifth of a scheduled eight rounds as he couldn’t come out as Referee Mark Bates stopped the fight after five rounds.
Fly Maisey Rosey Courtney, 8-1 (5) defeated Jasmina Nad, 11-34 (5) over six rounds.
In the second round, Courtney drew blood from the nose of Nad.
Referee Amy Pu scored it 60-54.
Super middleweight Taylor Bevan, 2-0 (2) stopped Szymon Kajda, 1-1-1 (1) at 1:31 of the second round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the second round’s first minute, Bevan dropped Kajda to a knee with a right uppercut on the chin for an 8-count from referee Bernard Oyet. Midway through the round, again Bevan landed a right uppercut, dropping Kajda for another 8-count. Upon rising, Bevan was all over Kajda, forcing Referee Oyet to call a halt.
In the second round, Bevan landed a right uppercut, dropping Kajda for an eight count from Referee Mark Bates. Upon rising, Bevan dropped Kajda a second time, stopping the fight.
