Raymond Ford (16-1-1, 8 KO) returned to his winning ways with a lopsided ten-round unanimous decision victory over Orlando Gonzalez (23-3, 13 KO) in a super featherweight bout on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The former WBA featherweight champion Ford, 25, showed excellent power in his right hand, knocking Gonzalez down with hooks to the head in rounds two and eight. Gonzalez was making things easy for Ford by standing in front of him and presenting an easy target.

Ford looked like a shark, going for the knockout in rounds nine and ten but unable to catch up to Gonzalez to land anything significant. He motioned for Gonzalez to stand still so he could continue battering him with right hooks, but he wanted not part of letting the younger, more powerful Ford finish him.

The scores were 99-89, 100-89, and 100-88.
