Derek Chisora takes on Otto Wallin in Manchester in the biggest show of a busy week of boxing!

Tuesday, Feb. 4

TrillerTV+ (?), 8:00 pm ET, CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing. Oliver McCall is back in action again, again! That’s the Boxing, and the Music is Krista Dudley. CountryBox has been a TrillerTV+ staple recently, but it isn’t listed at this point, even though fight promotional material includes the TrillerTV+ logo. One way or another, you can watch it through the CountryBox website.

Thursday, Feb. 6

ESPN+, 6:30 pm ET, Arthur Biyarslanov vs Mohamed Mimoune. From Montreal! Biyarslanov is the sort of Canadian fighter that was born in Russia, fighting in French Canada for the 5th time in just 11 months. Mimoune lost to Viktor Postol in his highest profile fight, and may be familiar from a pair of defeats on ProBox shows since then. Bakhodir Jalolov is on the undercard, fighting again as a pro for the first time since winning his second Olympic gold medal in Paris last summer.

Friday, Feb. 7

DAZN, 12:30 pm ET, GBM: A New Dawn. Daniel Dos Santos vs Shakan Pitters headline in a European light heavyweight title fight. Shakiel Thompson looks like the chief support, where he’ll be one of eight opponents to challenge “TBA” on the evening.

Saturday, Feb. 8

DAZN, 12:00 pm ET, Dream Boxing. Stanislavs Makarenko (4-13-2, 2 KO) hosts Leon Kermas (4-8, 0 KO) in Latvia. That’s the advertised main event for what DAZN is listing as: “a high-octane bill of fights,” and BoxRec is listing as: Nothing, as there’s no further information about the card on their site.

TrillerTV PPV, 2:00 pm ET, Rage Kombat: Rebellion 2025. “A night of boxing, MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kudo, and live music” (watch your back, CountryBox!) from Malta. Not familiar with Malta? It’s an island nation in the Mediterranean between Italy and Tunisia or Libya. The whole country is less than 1/7th the size of Jacksonville, Florida, with slightly more population than Mesa, Arizona. Among the boxing? Malta’s top ranked cruiserweight, Brandon Borg! The PPV costs you $9.99, which is pretty good value when you consider that the usual entry fee for the indoor skate park that’s hosting this show is about $5.17 American.

DAZN, 2:00 pm ET, Derek Chisora vs Otto Wallin. Chisora is 41, and refused to retire after a fun upset win over Joe Joyce last July. He wanted one more fight in Manchester, and he’ll get it against Wallin, who put a 47 stitch cut over Tyson Fury’s eye in a wide decision loss five and a half years ago, and hasn’t done much of note since then beyond getting his nose smashed in a corner stoppage loss to Anthony Joshua. Nathan Heaney, who had two very fun fights against Brad Pauls last year. So does Walter Fury, Tyson’s cousin, who fights as a pro for the 3rd time. BLH will have live updates

ProBox, 7:00 pm ET, ProBox Contender Series. From San Antonio, Texas! Ramon Cardenas vs Bryan Acosta is your main event, and the Lester Martinez vs Joeshon James fight that was cancelled on extremely short notice back in September is on the books in support. Shavkat Rakhimov is also listed on the undercard.

TrillerTV PPV, 8:00 pm ET, XRUMBLE Celebrity Boxing: Battle in the Bahamas. The main event? In the red corner is Ojani Noa, arguably best known for being married to Jennifer Lopez for about two years in the late 90s. And in the blue corner is Joe Giudice, famous for having been married to the Real Housewives lady who went to prison. Joe and ex-Mrs. Joe (they divorced in 2020) pled guilty to 41 counts of fraud, and Joe wound up serving three and a half years in federal prison before getting deported to Italy. He lives in the Bahamas now, and Wikipedia says he works “in construction” there. If for some reason two non-boxers in their 50s aren’t enough to get you to open your wallet… What if I told you Kimbo Slice Jr is also on this show? It’ll cost you $19.99, which is double the price of the Malta show, with none of the potential for sick air on a vert ramp. Choose wisely!
