On Monday’s episode of ProBox TV’s “Deep Waters,” analyst Chris Algieri said heavyweight Daniel Dubois, who upset Filip Hrgovic in their fight at last Saturday’s “5 vs 5” event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, may have turned a corner. Dubois, 26, who has struggled to live down criticism that he “quit” in a loss to current undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksander Usyk last year, pushed through early adversity to stop Hrgovic in the eighth round. “I think it’s going to be massive for him for the rest of his career,” Algieri said.
