After six rounds, Ball had out-landed Ford 85-71 and held a 67-46 edge in power punches landed. Ford seemed to be wearing down under Ball’s relentless forward aggression. A big left from Ford bloodied Ball’s nose and stopped him in his tracks in the seventh. Over the last six rounds of the fight, Ford landed 72 power punches and Ball’s 64. All three judges scored the fight 115-113, one of them for Ford and two of them for Ball.
