Barboza threw 150 more punches and landed 36 more jabs than Ramirez. Ramirez attempted to pressure Barboza, but had a hard time pulling the trigger. While Ramirez tried to get his offense on track, Barboza peppered him with jabs and power punches. All three judges scored it for Barboza 97-93, 96-94, and 96-94.
