Conor Benn posted on social media, saying that he’s been “cleared of any wrongdoing” by the National Anti-Doping panel for his positive tests, and he’s called out Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, Devin Haney and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis for a fight.

Many fans stopped caring about Benn’s career a long time ago, so this news of him being “cleared” by the NADP doesn’t mean much. He’ll still make some good coin fighting Chris Eubank Jr., but his chances of getting Tank, Haney, or Ennis are slim.

In Haney’s case, he might be open to a fight against Benn because his career is on the brink of being finished. Benn would be a life preserver thrown to him to keep him afloat for a little while before he ultimately sinks.

Conor’s career was going well until he tested positive for a banned substance in September 2022. The positive test derailed Benn’s fight against Chris Eubank Jr., which had been scheduled for October of that year and would have brought in millions for both fighters.

There was a lot of interest in Benn’s career at the time after he’d beaten a couple of older fringe-level fighters, Chris Algieri, Adrian Granados, and Chris Van Heerden.

Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) has little chance of getting any of those fighters to take him up on his offer because he’s not world-class. The 28-year-old Benn, the son of the famous former world champion Nigel Benn, is more of a prospect, and a Britsh-level one at that.

Conor’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, will likely set him up with a domestic scrap against Chris Eubank Jr. for a battle in Riyadh or the UK for the British fans to enjoy. Eubank Jr. is the same type of fighter as Benn. Neither guy has beaten top fighters during their careers, but they’ve made good money being the children of famous guys.
