Dominican featherweight prospect Yan Santana has signed a long-term co-promotional deal with Top Rank, the company announced Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Santana, 13-0 (12 KOs), is already co-promoted by Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment. He will return to the ring on March 29 when he faces an opponent to be named on the Mikaela Mayer-Sandy Ryan II undercard, which takes place at Bleaulive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

“I am grateful to God and my team for giving me the opportunity to show my talent to the world. I have what it takes to become a world champion. Soon, everyone will know who ‘Dangerous’ Santana is,” said Santana.

Adds Top Rank Chairman Bob Arum: “Yan Santana is a sensational talent who is well on his way to becoming a dominant presence in the featherweight division and beyond. I look forward to working with Miguel Cotto and his team to help guide Yan to the championship level. He has everything it takes to become a Dominican boxing legend.”

Santana, who turned pro in September of 2021, has fought on two straight Top Rank undercards, including Teofimo Lopez vs. Steve Claggett last June and O’Shaquie Foster vs. Robson Conceicao II last November.

“Yan Santana is a special fighter. Since we discovered him in 2022, we have not doubted his abilities and the great potential he has to become a world champion,” said Hector H. Soto, President of Miguel Cotto Promotions. “Without a doubt, he is the most important prospect in the Dominican Republic, and now our alliance with Top Rank makes him one of the most important prospects in the featherweight division.”
