Daniel Dubois’ promoter, Frank Warren, lit into Anthony Joshua’s management team, 258 MGT, in response to them posting a question to Queensberry Promotion this week, asking why Dubois hadn’t enrolled in VADA for testing ahead of their fight on September 21st at Wembley Stadium in London.

Warren told BoxNation that it was stupid for 258 to post that remark on social media, because Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) had already been enrolled. He doesn’t know why they did it.

Some fans on social media believe they were trying to get into Dubois’s mind to throw him off mentally and give Joshua a badly needed advantage. If Dubois, 26, is unnerved, it might be enough for Joshua to pull out the victory and keep his money training going for a little longer.

Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has had to work his magic to revive his career by feeding him four tomato cans to bring him back from the brink of mental collapse after he’d been soundly beaten twice in a row by Oleksandr Usyk and nearly gone postal after the second defeat in 2022.

Looking wild-eyed, Joshua grabbed Usyk’s belts and threw them out of the ring. AJ then snatched the microphone and started talking pure nonsense, sounding like a person who had lost his senses completely, needing to be taken away by the men in the white coats,

“They’ve done it. I don’t know why. Ask them. It’s stupid that they did it,” said promoter Frank Warren to BoxNation, railing about Anthony Joshua’s management at 258, putting out a post on X, asking why IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois hadn’t signed up for VADA testing for their September 21st clash at Wembley Stadium.

“It was not appropriate to put that out. He [Dubois] signed up. He’s clean. He doesn’t need PEDs for those bombs, those rocket launchers. When they start flying, you’re going to wish you’d been taking PEDs to strengthen you up against them.”

It will be interesting to see how Joshua reacts when Dubois begins dropping heavy ordinance onto his position, and he’s unable to escape the explosive blast. Does he beat a full-scale retreat or hit the deck, surrendering?
