Welterweight titleholder Eimantas Stanionis is preparing for a pivotal 2025, targeting multiple title defenses and unification bouts in the division.
Stanionis, 30, with a record of 15-0 (9 KOs), is known for his aggressive, high-volume style, but despite his unbeaten record, his name is often overlooked in discussions of boxing’s elite.
A native of Kaunas, Lithuania, Stanionis continues to train daily in his hometown as he awaits news of his next fight.
“I’m ready to make 2025 the biggest year of my career,” Stanionis said. “My goal is to defend my WBA title at least three times and unify with the other champions. I’m willing to face anyone to prove I’m the best.”
Stanionis has positioned himself as a key player in the welterweight division. A unification bout would be his chance to solidify his standing among boxing’s best.
“My goal is to defend my WBA title at least three times and unify with all the other world champions,” he said. “I want to prove I’m the best in the division, and I’m willing to face anyone to make that happen. Every day, I’m putting in the work here in Lithuania. The cold weather and tough conditions keep me sharp and focused. I’m preparing for a big fight announcement, and when the time comes, I’ll be ready to put on a show for the fans.”
