Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is set with the fighters making their rehydration weight.
After some adventure with Friday’s weigh-in, where Chris Eubank Jr was slightly overweight and had to pay a hefty fine, today’s rehydration clause weigh-in went off without a hitch.
Eubank Jr (34-3, 25 KO) and Benn (23-0, 14 KO) both made the fight day weight without issue, with Eubank coming in at 169.4 lbs and Benn at 165.
Both fighters had to be below 170 lbs today. Officially, it’s a middleweight fight, headlining a five-bout bill from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The show also features a third fight between light heavyweights Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur, plus Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna, Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley for the British cruiserweight title, and a heated cruiserweight matchup between former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith and American underdog Brandon Glanton, who has talked quite a game coming in.
