Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the long-brewing clash between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn

As expected, Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn will headline an April 26th Ring Magazine show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Said show will be staged in collaboration with SNK Games and named after their upcoming title Fatal Fury: City of Wolves. More of a Street Fighter/Guilty Gear tryhard myself, but I’ll always support Mai Shiranui and the Bogard Brothers in their various adventures.

All that needs to be said about the main event has already been said, so let’s talk about the undercard. Second from the top is a rubber match between light heavyweights Anthony Yarde (26-3, 24 KO) and Lyndon Arthur (24-2, 16 KO); their two prior meetings saw Arthur eke out a split decision before falling via stoppage a year later.

As of right now, Yarde’s 3-0 over limited opposition since a gutsy-but-losing effort against Artur Beterbiev, while Arthur’s 5-1 since the rematch with a win over Liam Cameron and loss to Dmitry Bivol.

Down at middleweight, Liam Smith (33-4-1, 20 KO) will try for one last hurrah opposite Aaron McKenna (19-0, 10 KO). This would have been an intriguing crossroads bout before Smith’s disastrous rematch with Eubank; as-is, this feels like he’s being tee’d up as a sacrifice.

The good stuff comes at cruiserweight. Former champion Chris Billam-Smith (20-2, 13 KO), last seen fighting his heart out in a losing battle with “Zurdo” Ramirez, returns against the very good but very unlucky Brandon Glanton (20-2, 17 KO). Undefeated Viddal Riley (12-0, 7 KO), originally slated to face Isaac Chamberlain before the latter withdrew, will instead take on the recently toppled Cheavon Clarke (10-1, 7 KO).
