Cristobal Lorente’s mandatory defense of the EBU featherweight title against Nathaniel Collins will go to purse bids February 5 if relevant parties don’t reach an agreement before that.
Lorente (20-0-1), from Spain, just signed a contract with Italian OPI since 82 and is making his second defence of the title he won against Mauro Forte in Albania in the summer of 2024.

Navarro was first set to fight Frenchman Gustave Tamba in late January but Tamba relinquished the title – most likely to go for the soon-to-be-vacant EBU title.
Danish middleweight Abdul Khattab (20-3-1) has a tough fight coming up in Milan, Italy, on March 28 against Samuel Nmomhah (20-0), reports knock-out.dk.
The now 31-year-old Khattab was one of the prospects in Sauerland Event’s Nordic Fight Night team but suffered stoppage losses to Howard Cospolite and then Armen Torosyan. He’s fought just twice in the last five years.
