Sheer Sports Management has appointed Roberto Diaz as president of the organization.
Diaz brings a wealth of experience and industry experience from his time as vice president and chief matchmaker at Golden Boy Promotions, where he played a key role in shaping the landscape of professional boxing and building countless boxers careers from debut into world champions.
Prior to working at GBP, Diaz was the advisor of three-time world champion Marco Antonio Barrera and five-time champion Manuel Medina.
At Golden Boy, Diaz worked with the likes of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Ryan Garcia, and Vergil Ortiz Jr. and at Sheer Sports Management, he will spearhead strategic initiatives, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead the company’s efforts in athlete representation, talent development, and sports management.
