Following Wednesday’s open workouts designed to promote the weekend’s rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, there will be a five-fight card staged by Frank Warren in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Over six rounds at junior middleweight, London’s Chris Kongo, 16-2 (7 KOs), will take on Colombia’s John Henry Mosquera, 5-20-1 (1 KO). Kongo’s most recent action took place on a similar event in September when he decisioned Jacob Quinn directly after the open workouts for the Daniel Dubois-Anthony Joshua event were staged.

Also over six, in the welterweight division, Scotland’s Luke Bibby, 16-4 (1 KO), is scheduled to clash with Sunderland, England’s Jordan Ellison who, when in the mood, is better than his 15-55-5 (1 KO) record might suggest.

The remaining three bouts are all over four.

Junior welterweight Aadam Hamed, son of “Naz”, gets another chance to impress when he’ll be favorite to advance his 3-0 (1 KO) record against Colombia’s Jesus Gonzalez, 3-4.

At junior middleweight, the promising Levi Barnes of Preston, England, should also bolster his ledger, currently at 7-0 (2 KOs), against Mexican 8-17 (7 KOs).

Finally, Saudi Arabian debutant Abdalla Darkazanly – fresh off his success at the local National Games – kicks off his professional career at middleweight against Costa Rica’s Jose Aguirre, 2-8 (1 KO).

The action is set to begin at 11pm, local time.
