Tyson Fury’s chances of becoming a three-time heavyweight champion in 2025, 2026, or 2027 look bleak after his recent loss to unified champ Oleksandr Usyk last week.

If Fury is going to have any shot at becoming a world title, he needs to make some drastic changes to his lifestyle and his training methods. First off, he needs to be locked away in an asylum-type training camp where he has no way to get to the kitchen.

Dark Ages Training

His current trainer, SugarHill Steward, has to go. He must be dumped and replaced by a throwback coach from the dark ages.

He needs someone who will torture him for four solid months to whip him into shape with nonstop training and exercises that leave him throwing up afterward. He’s not been working hard, obviously, because you consistently look as fat as him if you’ve been putting in the work.

He will need a Grand Inquisitor type of trainer to roll back the years and bring Fury back to his vintage form of 2015. Someone that will put him through a living hell, pushing him to the breaking point where he’s begging to quit, is the ideal solution to restore him to the vintage Gypsy King that defeated Klitschko in 2015.

Fury is so far gone, living the life of a wealthy millionaire, that it might be too late even for a sadistic throwback trainer to refurbish him. Like many rich athletes, he doesn’t want to work hard like he used to.

The way ‘The Gyspy King’ performed against Usyk, he would be food for IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois if he chose to go that route in an attempt to become a three-time world champion in 2025. Fury’s punch resistance is gone after 16 years in the pro game.

We saw how Fury’s eyes rolled back inside his head when he was hit hard several times in his rematch against Usyk. He didn’t get hit that much due to Usyk mostly boxing him, but if he took on Dubois, it would be bad for the old Gyspy King.

I don’t think Fury would escape the first round because his chin is no better than Anthony Joshua’s. Dubois obliterated poor AJ last summer on September 21st.

Yeah, Fury is rich, but he’s still ambitious and goal-oriented, and he’s going to want to capture another world title so he can say to the fans, ‘I told you so.’ He needs to win a world title for validation and to gloat to prove himself to all the doubters who see him as washed up.
