Gervonta “Tank” Davis is set for December, but the fight could be delayed according to reports.

Gervonta “Tank” Davis is currently set to return on Saturday, Dec. 14, in a Premier Boxing Champions pay-per-view main event against Lamont Roach, but Dan Rafael reports that multiple sources have told him the fight could be postponed.

One source, Rafael reports, “deemed it ‘50-50,’” and the issue may be with the announced venue, Houston’s Toyota Center.

A quick glance at the Toyota Center web site does not list anything else for Dec. 14, but also does not list this fight.

Davis (30-0, 28 KO) would be defending his WBA lightweight title against Roach (25-1-1, 10 KO), who currently holds the WBA title a division down at super featherweight.

It would be Davis’ second fight of 2024, following his June win over Frank Martin. Roach has also fought once this year and also in June, beating Feargal McCrory in a title defense in Washington, DC.
