Golden Boy Promotions announced Wednesday that 100 per cent of ticket sales from its January 23 card will go to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. The event, headlined by Eric Priest vs. Tyler Howard, will take place at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California, and will stream on DAZN.

The news comes in response to the devastating fires that have recently impacted and affected the Los Angeles region.

The main event is a 10-round middleweight bout between Priest, 14-0 (8 KOs), originally from Kansas City, Kansas, but now training in Las Angeles, and Howard, 20-2 (11 KOs), of Crossville, Tennessee. Priest fought twice in 2024, winning both fights via unanimous decision. Howard last fought in November, losing a unanimous decision to 2020 U.S. Olympian Troy Isley.

The undercard includes middleweight Jordan Panthen, 9-0 ( 8 KOs), of Honolulu, Hawaii, making his debut with Golden Boy Promotions. Panthen faces DeAundre Pettus, 12-3 (7 KOs), of Columbia, South Carolina. Panthen enters on a four-fight knockout streak. Pettus, despite having three losses, has never been stopped as a professional. Junior featherweight Hector Valdez Jnr, 16-0, (8 KOs), of Dallas, Texas, will fight for the first time since October 2022 as he takes on Franklin “El Abuelo” Gonzalez, 25-3 (25 KOs), of Los Teques, Venezuela.

Early action will feature junior middleweight Grant Flores, 7-0 (5 KOs), of Thermal, California, taking on David “Lobo” Ramirez, 17-3 (12 KOs) of Heredia, Costa Rica, in a six-round bout. Junior welterweight Cayden Griffiths 2-0 (2 KOs) of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, will face Marc Misiura, 3-6-1 (1 KO), of Scranton, Pennsylvania in a four-round bout. Bantamweight Jordan Fuentes, 2-0, of Fresno, California, will take on Brandon Badilo, (0-2-1), of Charlotte, North Carolina.
