Joe Joyce looks to re-establish himself with a big win over Dillian Whyte on April 5.
With Joe Joyce already scheduled for a fight with Dillian Whyte on April 5 with an interim fight before then, a soft-spoken Joyce talks to iFL TV about the fight and keeps his words to a minimum as he says we’re still in the early days of the promotion. Here’s what you’ll have to settle for until things heat up.
Joyce on how he’s feeling with another big fight on the table against Dillian Whyte
“Happy and excited to be in a big fight. I’ve obviously got a fight May 1st as a warm up and I’m training hard and going to win.
“It’s good to start the year off with a bang…I’m really excited for this ‘Heavy Impact’ (card), April 5th. It’s looking good.”
On Whyte as an opponent
“We’ll have to find out (if Whyte is still as good as he once was) but it’s just about how good I am, and I’ve reformed an old team and I’m coming to win.
“Look at the poster, it’s going to be a big night of heavyweight boxing. The Juggernaut is coming to put on a big performance, I’m training, I’ve got a warm up fight March 1st, and I’m coming to win April 5th.”
