Welterweight contender Harlem Eubank is scheduled to return to the ring on March 7 in his hometown of Brighton, England, with Ireland’s Tyrone McKenna the current frontrunner to face him.
Eubank, who is now 20-0 (8 KOs) and trained by fireman Charlie Beatt, last boxed in November, scoring a scrappy eight-round points win over Frenchhman Nurali Erdogan.
That was his only contest in 2024, having stopped Timo Schwarzkopf in 11 rounds a year earlier.
The Schwarzkopf bout was at the Brighton Centre, where it is expected Eubank will return.
Eubank has previously called out Conor Benn, and last year it was announced the Wasserman-promoted Eubank would face the Boxxer-promoted Adam Azim. They even went head-to-head after their contest was ‘announced’ – without a date or venue – but the bout failed to materialize.
McKenna, 24-5-1 (7 KOs), is fresh off a thrilling win over Dylan Moran in Waterford in December.
