Jack Catterall has suffered a training injury and his fight with Regis Prograis has been postponed.
The junior welterweights were due to collide on Aug. 24 at the new Co-op Arena in Manchester, England, but the amended date is likely to be in October.
Chorley’s Catterall is looking to press on after victory over Scottish rival Josh Taylor earlier this year, while the Houston-based Prograis is hoping to bounce back after defeat by Devin Haney at the end of 2023.
Prograis is 29-2 (24 KOs), and the 35-year-old attended a press conference in England to announce the fight last month.
The Jamie Moore-trained Catterall, 31, is 29-1 (13 KOs).
