The full undercard for Saturday’s light heavyweight battle between David Benavidez and David Morrell Jnr was announced by Premier Boxing Champions on Monday.

Most notably, middleweight Jose Benavidez Jnr, the older brother of headliner David Benavidez, will take on Danny Rosenberger in an eight-rounder on the non-televised portion of the event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Jose Benavidez Jnr, 28-3-1 (19 KOs), of Phoenix, is just 1-3-1 in his past five fights but has not been shy about testing himself against some of the highest levels of competition. After winning his first 27 fights, Benavidez was stopped by Terence Crawford in 2018, stayed out of the ring for three years and most recently lost a unanimous decision to Jermall Charlo in November 2023. Benavidez’s most recent win came in a stoppage of Sladan Janjanin in August 2023.

Moton, 6-0 (5 KOs), is a precociously talented 18-year-old from Salt Lake City who now fights out of the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas. He has ended four of his six professional fights with a first-round stoppage, including his past two (Victor Vazquez in August and Hilario Martinez Moreno in November).

Zaldivar, 5-1 (3 KOs), a 28-year-old Cuban now fighting out of Miami, most recently lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Yosdiel Napoles last August.

The remaining preliminary undercard will include:

Super middleweight prospect Daniel Blancas, 11-0 (5 KOs), facing Juan Barajas, 11-0-2 (7 KOs), in an eight-rounder.

Junior lightweight Kaipo Gallegos, 7-0-1 (6 KOs), taking on Venezuela’s Leonardo Padilla, 24-6-1 (17 KOs), over a scheduled eight rounds.

Super middleweight John Easter, 7-0 (7 KOs), in a six-rounder against Joseph Aguilar, 6-2-1 (3 KOs)

Gabriela Tellez, 3-0 (1 KO), in a six-round featherweight bout with Abril Anguiano, 4-0 (2 KOs).

The four-fight PBC Pay-Per-View event on Amazon’s Prime Video will start Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. A two-fight preliminary card beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern Time will be available via free-access stream to all fans on Prime, regardless of Prime membership or purchase of the PPV card.
