The undercard for the February 21 broadcast on UFC Fight Pass featuring junior welterweight prospect Cain Sandoval has been announced.

The main event at the Chumash Resort Casino in Santa Ynez, California, will see Sandoval, 14-0 (12 KOs), take on Mark Bernaldez, 25-6 (18 KOs) in a 10-round bout.

Sandoval fought three times in 2024, including a sixth-round knockout of Romero Duno in August. Many of Bernaldez’s defeats have come against familiar names, including Oscar Duarte, Andres Cortes, Albert Bell and Andy Vences.

In the co-feature, junior welterweight Karlos Balderas, 15-2 (13 KOs), will face Yeis Solano, 15-4 (10 KOs) in a 10-round bout.

Balderas will be looking for his second straight win since dropping a majority decision to Nahir Albright in 2023. Solano has lost four in a row, dropping a unanimous decision to Mykquan Williams in January 2021, a split decision to Alberto Palmetta in October 2021, a sixth-round knockout to Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela in September 2023 and a unanimous decision to Kelvin Davis last November.

Junior bantamweight prospect Daniel “Chucky” Barrera, 8-0-1 (4 KOs), will meet Cristopher Rios, 10-2 (7 KOs) in an eight-round bout.

Barrera turned pro in 2022. In October, he won a unanimous decision over the 8-1-3 Angel Geovanny Meza Morales. Rios has lost two in a row: a split decision to the 2-0 Billy Rodriguez in September 2023 and a majority decision to the 10-1 Andy Dominguez Velasquez last June.

Strawweight prospect Guadalupe Medina, 8-0 (2 KOs), is in an eight-round bout against Agustina Solange Vazquez, 4-2-2 (0 KOs).

Medina turned pro in 2022. In October, she won a majority decision over the 6-3 Katherine Renee Lindenmuth. Vazquez dropped a split decision in September to the 3-1-2 Daiana Jackeline Ortiz but then returned just 20 days later with a points victory over the 3-2 Sabrina Persona.

Three other fighters are scheduled to appear in separate bouts. Their opponents have yet to be named:

Gor Yeritsyan, 19-1 (15 KOs), is a welterweight who lost a split decision in July to the 15-0-1 Aram Amirkhanyan and then returned in October with a fifth-round knockout of long-faded former junior featherweight titleholder Jonathan Romero.

Junior lightweight prospect Abel Mejia, 6-0 (5 KOs) is back after notching four wins, three by knockout, in 2024. Three of his opponents had more wins than losses, but the last victory was a sixth-round TKO of the 6-1 Kevin Taylor Mangune

And junior lightweight prospect Angel Carrillo, 4-0-1 (2 KOs), returns to the ring after a 2024 campaign in which he went 2-0-1 against foes with a combined record of 1-3-4.
