On December 7, boxing fans are in for a treat as Richardson Hitchins faces off against IBF super lightweight champion Liam Paro. To hype up the event, Matchroom has dropped a new episode of “Make The Days Count,” giving us a peek behind the curtain at how both fighters are gearing up for this showdown. The main card and broadcast will start at 7:00 PM ET live on DAZN.
Hitchins is coming off a tough decision win against Gustavo Lemos, which some critics say exposed his vulnerabilities. But Hitchins sees it differently. “I feel like my last fight with Gustavo Lemos brought something out of me,” he explains. “After the fight I pissed blood… that was a tough fight. You’re going to have to kill me to stop me.”
On the flip side, Paro is ready to test Hitchins’ resolve. He’s convinced that Hitchins has a quitting tendency lurking beneath the surface. “We’ve heard numerous times that he’s a quitter,” Paro states confidently. “Once a quitter, always a quitter, so I’m definitely going to test that.”
