The undercard is slanted more toward British fans, as the U.S. public isn’t too familiar with any of the names. So many Americans will purchase the event on PPV to see the Joshua-Dubois fight and not take much interest in the other fights.
Ideally, the organizers should have put one or two quality fights involving U.S. or Mexican fighters to balance out the card rather than having it slanted 100% for UK fans.
Joshua is taking his first fight against a high-caliber fighter in two years since his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk. It’s unknown if the two-time heavyweight champion Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) is mentally and physically ready for a young talent like Dubois. This is make-or-break for Joshua, who needs the win to show that he still has something left.
