O’Shaquie Foster vs. Robson Conceicao
Keyshawn Davis vs. Miguel Madueno
Abdullah Mason vs Luis Lebron
Main Event: Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan
There’s a lot of interest from hardcore fans in the main event between Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) and challenger Artem Harutyunyan (13-1, 7 KOs). This is the last fight of the 27-year-old self-glorifying Shakur’s contract with Top Rank, and he has visions of being sought out by other promoters as a free agent.
Shakur must break out of his usual fighting style of fencing and make it entertaining for fans, because he cannot put fans at home asleep and expect promoters to want to waste their time signing him unless it’s a short one-fight deal against a fighter that sells.
Co-Main Event: O’Shaquie Foster vs. Robson Conceicao
In the co-feature bout, WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster (22-2, 12 KOs) defends against 2016 Olympic gold medalist Robson Conceicao (18-2-1, 9 KOs), who arguably should only have one defeat on his record.
Conceicao has gotten a rotten deal in fights against Oscar Valdez and Emanuel Navarrete, both of which he appeared to win, but the judges failed to give him the victory.
The only true defeat on Conceicao’s resume was against Shakur Stevenson, who came in 1.6 lbs overweight, and fought defensively entire fight in match much closer than the wide scores the judges in this New Jersey-based bout scored.
In a ten-round fight, lightweight contender Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7 KOs) is fighting another confidence-booster in Miguel Madueno (31-2, 28 KOs).
