The 21-year-old undefeated 154-lb contender Zayas (18-0, 12 KOs) is being maneuvered by Top Rank to be their next star in the junior middleweight division.
It’s still too early to know if Zayas can follow in the footsteps of Puerto Rican giants Miguel Cotto and Felix Trinidad, but tonight’s fight with Teixeira (34-4, 25 KOs) will give fans a better idea.
