Lyndon Arthur has targeted a fight with Dan Azeez after his victory over Liam Cameron.
Arthur, 33, earned a split decision over 10 rounds with Cameron at the Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton having weighed in narrowly over the light-heavyweight limit.
In the week previous Azeez, 34, laboured to a draw over eight rounds with Hrvoje Sep, but he remains a significant figure in the competitive, domestic light-heavyweight scene, and Arthur said: “I’d love the Azeez fight next and I believe I beat him.
“Once again I’ve headlined and I can be nothing but grateful. As everyone can see, that wasn’t my best performance in there but we got the win and we move on to the future and big fights.
“Everyone at Wasserman Boxing, Kalle and Nisse [the Sauerland brothers], and my management have big things planned ahead for me and they have my best at heart.”
Arthur-Cameron was overseen by Nisse Sauerland, and he said: “Lyndon got the job done. He wasn’t at his best but he marches on and we now look to make a huge domestic dust-up for him.
“The fights the British fans want to see are Lyndon in with Dan Azeez, Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson, and they are the type of fights we want next for him.”
