John Fury says he’s was only promoting the sport of boxing by headbutting unsuspecting member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team.
John Fury sure knows how to stir up some controversy, and this week has been no different when the father of Tyson Fury headbutted a young member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team. According to the elder Fury, that’s just all in a day’s work but he insists that he meant absolutely no harm.

On his prediction for the fight
“Tyson will knock him out before the final bell.”
On his headbutting incident
“It’s the fight game. Testosterone…Things happen. This, to me, is a regular thing. You know, it’s happening every Friday and Saturday night where I live. It’s just the banter, is it. You know, some people do get a few bumps and scrapes but no harm intended. It’s all to do with the sport of boxing.”
Tyson Fury will contend for the undisputed heavyweight crown when he takes on Usyk this weekend, but hopefully the antics won’t overshadow the actual product.
